Privacy Policy

Account

• Email address, and a password if you create one. Passwords are stored only as a hash.
• If you sign in with Apple or Google, the identifier and email those providers share with us.
• Preferred language, email verification and password-reset codes, and the time you last signed in.

Profile and content you add

• Username, name, photos (avatar, cover, gallery), bio, birth date, gender, city, social links, and interests.
• Events you create or apply to, including a location when you place an event on the map.
• Posts, messages, and reports you send.
• Who you follow, block, or mute, and privacy choices such as a private account, hidden following list, or hidden last seen.

Device and location

We store session details needed to keep you signed in: IP address, device information, and push notification tokens so we can deliver notifications you opt into.

Location is used when you choose it — for example, to set an event on the map or to show plans near you. We do not track your location in the background.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed by Apple. We do not receive your card number. We store the Apple product identifier, original transaction identifier, subscription status, and expiry so we can tell whether your plan is active.

How we use it

• To run your account, show your profile, and deliver events, posts, chats, and notifications.
• To apply the privacy settings you choose and to enforce blocks, mutes, and event age limits.
• To keep the service reliable and to respond when you contact [email protected].

Who else sees it

Other members can see the profile fields and content you choose to share, subject to a private account, blocks, and mention settings. We do not sell personal information. We share it with the providers that host the service and deliver sign-in, payments, and notifications (including Apple and Google when you use those features), and when the law requires it.

Deletion

You can delete your account in the app settings. Deletion removes your sign-in email and username so they can be used again, and we stop treating the account as active. Messages and event history that other people still need to see may remain in a form that no longer identifies you.

Children

Vibeit is not directed at children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we delete it. Contact [email protected] if you believe that happened.
